Didn't I mention before that my NC750X occasionally won't shift into neutral?
Now I've found the problem: it's tire pressure...
The rear tire had a small leak because I didn't properly repair a nail I punctured.
Every time I go out, I inflate the tires to full pressure, but by the time I get home, they're halfway down.
When they're fully inflated, shifting into neutral at traffic lights is smooth, but the problem only occurs when I'm almost home.
Underinflated tires increase wheel speed. This is because the DCT system uses front and rear wheel speeds to determine gear changes. If there's a speed difference between the front and rear wheels, it detects slippage and prevents shifting into neutral. rigger the safety mechanism.
For your reference...
Ich fahre einen Schalter, keine DCT - aber das überrascht mich jetzt doch etwas. Ist dem so, kann das jemand nachvollziehen ?
